Italian Tomatoes from a Short Supply Chain
It's important to make a distinction: we buy fresh tomatoes here in Sal, of course. And it's a good product. But even in this case, the ancient tradition of tomato cultivation in Italy and their rich and incomparable flavor have led us to search for an excellent Italian producer. And we found it.
The peeled tomatoes used in our kitchen preparations and the tomato pulp that garnishes our delicious pizzas are imported directly from a historic Italian producer. A producer that boasts an extremely short processing chain. In other words, the 100% Italian tomatoes are processed a few hours after harvesting. This means that the fantastic aromas and all the organoleptic and nutritional characteristics remain practically intact.

The
peeled tomatoes of suitable varieties undergo rapid pressure blanching, subsequent mechanical peeling and manual sorting before being packaged with the addition of tomato juice; the
Tomato Pulp is instead the result of the grinding of high-quality tomatoes for subsequent blanching, refining and collection of their juice.
